Code of Conduct - Senior Members

Farnham Park Baseball and Softball Club is fully committed to promoting fair play and good behaviour. The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect for the rules of the game, opponents and officials.

All Senior Members of Farnham Park Baseball and Softball Club must abide by the following Code of Conduct:

  • Learn the rules and play within them
  • Do not argue with officials or play in a way that could be deemed as unfair
  • Publicly accept officials’ judgements
  • Respect opponents
  • Keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform your coach/captain if you are going to be late
  • Wear suitable kit for training and competitions, as agreed with the coach/captain
  • Pay any fees for membership, training, competitions or events promptly
  • Recognise good performance, not just results
  • Use correct and proper language at all times
  • Display consistently high standards of behaviour and appearance
  • Follow all guidelines laid down by the national governing body and Farnham Park Baseball and Softball Club
